Return and Withdrawal Policy

At Maison Odeur, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Have you received your order and wish to return it? Below you will find all the information about returns and the right of withdrawal.

1. Right of Withdrawal

As a consumer, in accordance with applicable Belgian and European consumer law, you generally have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving the order, without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period begins on the day after you, or a third party designated by you who is not the carrier, receives the product.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must clearly inform us of your wish to withdraw from the agreement within this period.

2. Return Conditions for Perfume and Cosmetics

For hygiene and health reasons, certain products cannot be returned if the seal has been broken after delivery.

For perfume, cosmetics, and other products that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons, the right of withdrawal does not apply if the the seal has been broken.

This means, for example, that a perfume whose original seal or protective foil has been removed or opened cannot be returned if the product falls under this legal exception.

A product that has only been visually inspected without breaking the seal can generally be returned within the statutory withdrawal period.

3. Condition of the Returned Product

When exercising your right of withdrawal, you must handle the product and its packaging with care.

The product must be returned, as far as reasonably possible, in its original condition and packaging.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

If desired, the reason for the return

You are not obliged to provide a reason for the return when exercising your statutory right of withdrawal.

Upon receipt of your return instructions, you can send the package to the return address provided by us.

5. Return Costs

The costs for returning an order are at the customer's expense.

If you have received a wrong or damaged product, please contact us as soon as possible before returning the product.

6. Refund

After a valid withdrawal, we will refund the amount you paid for the returned products, including the applicable standard delivery costs of the original order.

If you have expressly chosen a more expensive delivery method than our cheapest standard delivery, the additional costs for this more expensive method will not be refunded.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned products or until you have provided evidence of having sent back the products, whichever is the earliest.

The refund will generally be made via the same payment method used for the original order, unless otherwise agreed.

7. Damaged or Incorrectly Delivered Products

Have you received a product that is damaged, defective, or incorrectly delivered? Please contact us as soon as possible via ....

If possible, include clear photos of the product, the packaging, and any damage. We will then work with you to find a suitable solution.

8. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to products for which a legal exception applies.

This may apply, among other things, to certain sealed products that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons if the seal has been broken after delivery.

In addition, other legal exceptions may apply depending on the type of product.
